Mobile software firm Kdan invested $1.2 M in rival Toss Lab Inc.
Kdan Mobile Software, a rival company located in Taiwan, has invested US $1.2 million in South Korean software-as-a-service provider Toss Lab Inc. To grow their user bases and become global, the two B2B companies intend to merge their systems.
Over 10 million users worldwide have downloaded Kdan Mobile’s software products, which include e-signature services and creative productivity tools, over 200 million times. When the firm was established in 2009 by Kenny Su, it made a promise to become the following unicorn in the SaaS sector.
In the meantime, 350,000 business teams utilize Toss Lab’s services through its collaboration flagship platform Jandi. It provides users with file previews, task management, topic-based discussion groups, and videoconferencing. Daehyun Kim and Daniel Chan launched the company in 2014.
Through its PDF software development kit library technology, Kdan will collaborate with Toss Lab to enhance the latter’s workflow tools.
At a compound annual growth rate of 25.9%, the global SaaS market is anticipated to reach a value of 720.4 billion by 2028.
