Performance wear brand Zymrat acquired by D2C lifestyle firm Styched
Styched, a D2C fashion and lifestyle company, has acquired the Zymrat team as well as the performance wear company Zymrat in a cash and equity swap deal.
Zymrat will continue to operate independently under the same brand name after the acquisition and continue to provide its current and expanded product lineup.
Zymrat claims that under Styched’s guidance, it will make use of the potential of production-on-demand technology to increase the range of its products and bring down the price of its premium goods in order to appeal to a larger market.
Zymrat is a performance clothing company that sells a variety of items, including men’s outerwear, shorts, joggers, and t-shirts for training and running.
Zymrat asserts that it had $1 million in annual recurring revenue (ARR) at the time of acquisition.
Styched, a production-on-demand fashion apparel company founded in 2019 by Soumajit Bhowmik, asserts that it runs on a zero-waste, zero-inventory, and zero-warehouse model.
In an all-equity deal, Styched purchased Flatheads, a direct-to-consumer (D2C) casual sneaker startup, in July.
