Titan Capital led Rs 4.33 Cr Seed funding secured by kitchenware & home decor brand P-TAL
Priyank Shah, Bala Sarda, Ashutosh Valani, Deep & Mohit Bajaj, Ashish Tulsian, Arjun Vaidya, Ghazal Alagh of Mamaearth, Sandeep Aggarwal, Vishesh Khurana of Shiprocket, and Ashutosh Valani of Titan Capital have all contributed to the Rs 4.33 crore Seed funding round led by Titan Capital for the kitchenware and home decor brand P-TAL.
According to a press release from P-TAL, the company intends to use the funds to expand its team in preparation for expanding operations.
P-TAL, which Aditya Agarwal and Kirti Goel co-founded in 2019, aims to modernize old customs while promoting the use of conventional metals like brass, copper, and bronze. The thatheras of Jandial Guru, Punjab, who practice a craft recognized by UNESCO, handcraft the company’s goods. P-TAL has a physical presence in Delhi and sells these goods through its own online store, as well as through online shops like Amazon, Tata Cliq, LBB, Etsy, and Okhai.
According to the Panchkula-based business, it was able to increase the monthly income of 55 artisan families by 1,200%, and prestigious customers like the Reserve Bank of India, Pernod Ricard, the G-20 Summit 2023, and Engineers India Limited (EIL) have chosen its products as gifts.
The business also states that over the past three years, its revenue has increased by 300% year over year.
A number of startups, including Credgenics, Bewakoof, Unicommerce, ANS Commerce, and Netmeds.com, have been partially or completely sold off by Titan Capital, which has backed unicorns like Ola, Urban Company, Mamaearth, OfBusiness, and Razorpay.
