Rewards-focused web browser Veera raised $6 M Seed funding from Ayon Capital
The rewards-focused web browser Veera has raised $6 million in its seed round, which was spearheaded by Ayon Capital. Numerous angel and institutional investors, including 6th Man Ventures, Folius Ventures, The Operating Group, and iSeed Ventures, participated in the round.
The funds that are raised will be utilized to improve infrastructure, fund marketing campaigns, and grow the company’s engineering staff in order to accelerate product development.
In September 2023, Veera, an Indian-based startup founded by Arjun Ghose, released its mobile-only web browser that featured ad blocking and customized content.
Ghose claims that since then, the browser has amassed over 100,000 users. In order to encourage user loyalty and engagement on the platform through gamification, he also mentioned that Veera had introduced an engagement-driven rewards program.
Vested Finance is an online platform that allows Indian investors to invest in the US stock market. Ayon Capital, a single-family office based in Florida, has previously invested in Vested Finance. Additionally, the fund invests in Brave, a privacy-focused web browser created by the same team that created Firefox.
