Community platform Hack2Skill raised $1 M Debt and Equity funding

A $1 million debt and equity financing round led by Recur Club and String Ventures has been raised by community platform Hack2Skill.

Hack2Skill is a hackathon platform operator founded in 2021 by Samkit Sharma with the goal of helping communities and corporations organize hackathons more effectively.

Companies can upskill developers by giving them a platform to learn new skills, build projects, and earn rewards. The platform features a suite of tools that help communities and corporations manage hackathons, including registration, team matchmaking, event timeline, internal chat, and more.

By hosting hackathons, workshops, and boot camps, Hack2Skill, which purports to have a community of over 2.5 million tech enthusiasts, aims to enable its members to work together to find creative solutions.

Over 500 companies, such as Ustraa, Rage Coffee, Moveinsync, Keka HR, Xoxodays, and others, have received over $100 million in funding from Recur Club. The skincare brand Conscious Chemist was acquired by it last month.
