Runchise raised additional $1 M funding co-led by East Ventures and Genesia Ventures

East Ventures and Genesia Ventures, the company’s current investors, have contributed an additional $1 million to Runchise, an Indonesian restaurant management and culinary franchise startup. Their announcement was made on Tuesday.

The company’s primary focus, according to Runchise’s statement, is still on innovation and technological advancement to increase restaurant profitability, even with this new funding.

To help more businesses succeed, it will also give priority to investments in branding campaigns and geographic expansion, enabling it to reach more cities.

“We are glad to receive continuous support from our investors,

“We believe this funding serves as a strong vote of confidence toward our solution to empower the food and beverage (F&B) industry,” said Daniel Witono, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Runchise.

“We believe that technology is an important tool in ensuring the operational efficiency of this industry,

“Having said that, we are committed to providing innovative and tailored solutions for the players, helping them to scale and unlock the opportunities ahead,” he added.

Under the direction of PT Teknologi Kuliner Kekinian, Runchise has operated in Indonesia since 2022.

The company provides a range of excellent product management systems to help franchisors and franchisees grow their food and beverage businesses.

It focuses on forecasting goals, boosting revenue in the food industry, and managing and observing technology-based operational systems.

The statement claims that although the food and beverage and hospitality industries offer enormous potential in many developing nations, the players in these markets engage in fierce competition.

Thus, success in this industry depends on operational excellence and efficiency.

The F&B players, it was noted, still face obstacles and difficulties in optimizing their growth, and this industry has limited access to specialized solutions.

According to Runchise, the company created a user-centric platform with an end-to-end ecosystem by thoroughly understanding the business process and restaurant operations.

The online or cloud-based platform makes sure that all of the restaurant outlets’ data is connected accurately, transparently, and consistently into a single platform.
