The timbuktoo MineTech Accelerator program, a game-changing project of the timbuktoo MineTech Hub, is now accepting applications. Its goals are to empower startups, spur innovation in mining technology, and scale transformative technologies in the African mining industry.
With an emphasis on reimagining the mining industry through the empowerment of youth-led startups, the program is the first of its kind on the continent and is run by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in collaboration with the National Institute for Scientific and Industrial Research (NISIR) and the Timbuktoo Africa Innovation Foundation.
The accelerator program gives participants access to financial resources, high-tech products, and networks. The Timbuktoo initiative hopes to promote sustainability and operational efficiency through the accelerator program, opening up new avenues for socioeconomic development throughout the continent.
The deadline for applications is February 13.
