Singapore-Based MajuHR acquired by Omni HR for undisclosed amount

MajuHR, a Singaporean provider of human resource (HR) software, was acquired by People Intelligence Singapore Pte. Ltd. (Omni HR) for an undisclosed sum.

According to a statement from Omni HR, this is the company’s first acquisition and a calculated move to unify Asia’s dispersed HR technology market.

Omni HR, a Singaporean company, offers cloud-based payroll and HR solutions with automated workflows and local compliance features in more than 15 Asian markets.

The company’s first acquisition was made possible by its $7.4 million funding round in 2024 and its quick customer growth.

MajuHR, a leader in omnichannel-native HR software in Southeast Asia, enables workers to check their paystubs or request time off via a straightforward WhatsApp message, which is already how many Asian teams communicate.

The combined platform will provide more user-friendly HR experiences that are suited to the workings of contemporary Asian teams by fusing Omni HR’s multi-country capabilities with MajuHR’s chat-native DNA.

The agreement reflects the rising need in Asia’s $6.4 billion HR software market for platforms that truly comprehend how business is conducted in the area, fusing advanced automation with knowledge of local regulations—features that many local suppliers have been slow to acquire.

“At Omni HR, our focus has always been on bringing automation and flexible workflows to modern teams operating across borders in Asia,

“The acquisition of MajuHR allows us to deepen our product capabilities and broaden our client portfolio,” said Brian Ip, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Omni HR.

Omni has the best track record in Asia for managing employees across multiple countries, according to Roshan Ravishankar, co-founder of MajuHR.

“We’re thrilled to bring our chat-native DNA under the Omni banner and collectively unlock a more seamless, data-rich experience for HR and Finance leaders across the region,” he added.

Omni HR’s platform will be used by MajuHR’s clientele, expanding the company’s portfolio of cutting-edge, contemporary companies in the area.

Omni HR is now a major player among up-and-coming Asian HR technology firms that are creating platforms that are competitive with those of international software providers while retaining in-depth local market knowledge thanks to the acquisition.

Omni HR intends to keep making investments in more in-depth localization in the future.

The business is also looking into new collaborations and product additions to better serve its expanding enterprise and mid-market clientele in Asia.

The purchase of MajuHR, according to Omni, creates the foundation for future growth through strategic merger and acquisition (M&A) as well as product development.
