Crion Technologies raises Rs 3.5 Cr funding from SIG Tattva

SIG Tattva, the corporate venture capital division of the Somany Impresa Group, is leading a 3.5 crore funding round for Crion Technologies, a company that develops cutting-edge digital solutions in IoT, AI, AR/VR, and cloud technologies.

By offering real-time insights and predictive capabilities, Crion’s flagship digital twin platform Clonos seeks to revolutionize asset management by assisting businesses in increasing productivity, decreasing downtime, and making more informed decisions.

For the manufacturing and process industries, Crion Technologies was co-founded in 2016 by Rahul K, Karthik Pondugula, and Rathees Paneerselvam. The company specializes in digital twin solutions and other cutting-edge digital technologies, such as AI, IoT, and AR/VR, to maximize industrial asset management, maintenance, and operational efficiency. Among its products are the ClonosTM platform for creating 3D digital twins and the “Augmented Workforce” concept for efficiency, upkeep, and training.

“What excites us most is working with an industry group that truly understands how transformative technologies can reshape manufacturing, utilities, and infrastructure. Together, we can unlock meaningful impact at scale,” said Vishnuvardhan Jayachandran, CEO of Crion Technologies.

In addition to the investment, SIG Tattva introduced its flagship initiative, Pilot Before Pitch (PBP). VCs such as Huddle Ventures, TVS Capital, Pontaq, Alteria Capital, Arali Ventures, Forge, and Nirman Venture were among those present at the launch.

The Somany Impresa Group’s corporate venture capital division, SIG Tattva, specializes in early-stage investments in clean technologies, enterprise SaaS, deep-tech manufacturing, next-generation e-commerce, and disruptive product innovations.
