Toy company Legend of Toys raises Rs 21 Cr Pre-Series A funding

In a pre-Series A funding round, the toy company Legend of Toys raised Rs 21 crore. Singularity Early Opportunities Fund, Veltis Capital, Enzia Ventures, DeVC, Atrium Angels, and Stride all participated.

According to a press release from the company, the proceeds will be utilized to grow into new play categories, consumer marketing, digital expansion, manufacturing, and international markets.

Afshaan Siddiqui and Vinay Jaisingh co-founded Legend of Toys, a toy company that specializes in character-led merchandise, in 2024. RC Drift Cars, Off-Road RC Trucks, 1:64 tabletop RC Drift Cars, and High-Speed RC Cars are among its products, with prices ranging from Rs 1,599 to Rs 8,799.

Government data shows that between FY2014-15 and FY2022-23, toy exports rose by 239% while toy imports fell by 52%.

Legend of Toys stated that its goal is to increase its market share in the high-end toy market through product support, design, storytelling, performance, and community involvement.

According to the company, it grew at a rate of 20% per month and reached an ARR of Rs 30 crore in just 18 months. Additionally, it stated that a sizable portion of its direct-to-consumer sales are unit economics positive.

In recent months, there has been more funding activity in the startup ecosystem for toys and kids. The toy subscription startup earlier this week Growth Sense Venture Fund led a $1 million pre-Series funding round for the EleFant.

Toy manufacturing startup BIDSO raised Rs 63 crore in a Series A round led by Blume Ventures in March 2026.
