Aakash Anand’s new venture Unikon.ai raised $2 M from multiple investors
The creator of Bellavita and serial entrepreneur Aakash Anand has revealed his newest project, Unikon.ai, a platform that pays users for their time and expertise in order to create meaningful connections.
Entrepreneurs such as Nikhil Kamath (Zerodha), Peyush Bansal (Lenskart), Vishesh Khurana (Shiprocket), Dholakia Ventures, Nitin Jain & Vasant Sridhar (OfBusiness), and Gaurav Khatri (Noise) have also contributed $2 million to Unikon.ai. Prominent individuals such as Rahul Malodia (Business Coach), Ganeshprasad (Thinkschool), Raj Shamani, Arjun Vaidya, Tanmay Bhatt, and Sharan Hegde (Finance with Sharan) were also present in the round.
Palash Arneja, who is the chief operating officer of Unikon.ai, and Sumit Jha, who is the chief technology officer, are the other two co-founders of the company. Jha was the previous CTO of Zecpe, a company that Cashfree purchased in 2023, whereas Arneja is a chartered accountant.
With the official launch of its new platform, Unikon.ai, users can now connect with peers or advisors for real, relatable, and helpful advice. According to the company, users can host events like webinars or workshops, post questions for expert responses, and share their knowledge to get paid.
Users of the platform can establish their own rates and timetables for one-on-one chat, audio, or video calls.
Former CEO of AngelList India, Utsav Somani, introduced the community platform Offline last year. A small group of micro venture capitalists, unicorns, influencers who later became investors, and co-founders of other startups also contributed $2 million to the company’s funding.
