ABC Impact led Rs 150 Cr raised by DCDC Kidney Care

Singapore-based ABC Impact, an Asia-focused impact investor supported by Temasek, has contributed Rs 150 crore ($17.4 million) to DCDC Health Services Pvt. Ltd. (DCDC), which runs dialysis facilities under the DCDC Kidney Care brand.

In keeping with the Ayushman Bharat Yojna, the money raised will be utilized to support the company’s growth, which includes plans to open 150 new clinics and increase access to reasonably priced dialysis services.

DCDC was established in 2009 and operates more than 200 centers throughout India through standalone clinics and public-private partnerships (PPP).

The investment will improve last-mile connectivity for high-quality dialysis care, according to CEO Aseem Garg. Sugandhi Matta, Chief Impact Officer at ABC Impact, emphasized the importance of increasing access to affordable healthcare.

ADB and IFU are two of DCDC’s investors. It has grown considerably since 2021 and now provides close to 100,000 dialysis sessions every month.
