Accelerator program for climate tech startups launched by Massive Earth Foundation
In collaboration with Amazon Web Service (AWS) and Climate Angels, Massive Earth Foundation has launched the GoMassive Climate Accelerator (GCA).
Now accepting applications are early-stage Indian startups with a focus on climate technology for the accelerator program. The four-week program, which will begin with a three day in-person boot camp in Bengaluru and transition to four-week virtual sessions, is open to startups that are bootstrapped or funded up to $5 million.
The 20 startups that have been selected for the boot camp will interact with top climate-tech investors and industry professionals to receive mentoring, training, and guidance on product, design, growth, and leadership development. Additionally, the chosen startups will receive AWS activate credits worth up to $25,000.
According to Massive Earth Foundation, the accelerator program is focused on six crucial climate-tech verticals: industrial decarbonization, low-carbon transportation, sustainable cities, sustainable agriculture, digital solutions for sustainability, and clean energy.
A Demo Day where entrepreneurs pitch their startups to investors, including well-known angels, marks the program’s conclusion. A functioning website and a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) are requirements for applicants (startups).
Massive Earth Foundation (MEF) introduced LowCarbon.Earth in July, a climate tech accelerator geared toward startups finding solutions to pollution and climate change.
