Additional funding received by Kenyan startup Zuri Health to aid in its growth
Zuri Health, a Kenyan startup, has received additional funding from Five35 Ventures to enable it to expand its cutting-edge healthcare platform and help more people.
The launch of Zuri Health, a virtual, mobile-first, on-demand healthcare platform that enables patients to quickly and easily access healthcare from licensed healthcare providers, based on availability, location, and specialization, was reported on by a media-house in January 2021. Despite now being present in Ghana, Nigeria, Senegal, South Africa, Uganda, Tanzania, and Zambia, the startup originally debuted in Kenya.
Zuri Health secured further investment from Five35 Ventures to maintain its growth trajectory after raising a pre-seed round of US $1.3 million last year. Five35 Ventures is an early-stage venture capital company that invests in female-focused startups in a variety of industries that address significant problems all over the continent.
“We are thrilled to have the support of Five35 Ventures in our journey to transform healthcare. This investment will enable us to scale our platform and bring our innovative health services to more people in need. With the backing of Five35 Ventures, we are confident in our ability to revolutionise how healthcare is accessed and experienced worldwide,” said Titilola Olaolu-Hassan, co-founder of Zuri Health.
