Aeravti Ventures led $600K Seed funding raised by supply chain platform FreightFox

FreightFox, an intelligent supply chain platform, has raised $600,000 in a seed funding round that was co-led by Aeravti Ventures and included other investors.

Before a seed round led by Mahendra Yadav and others in April 2021, the Pune-based startup had raised $300,000. According to a press release from FreightFox, the business plans to use the funds to expand its platform and enter new markets.

FreightFox is a data-first enterprise transportation procurement and management system that was jointly founded in October 2020 by Nitish Rai, Manjari Sharma, Dhananjaya Shetty, Sandeep Mukhopadhyay, and Vikas Singh. It drives growth by providing manufacturing logistics with more options, better control, and more certain choices. For manufacturing businesses, its cooperative truckloads result in lower inventory buildups and lower cost-to-serve.

Other significant players in this market include Shadowfax, Porter, FreightBro, Rivigo, Leap India, which is backed by Piramal Capital, and 4tigo, which is backed by Accel Partners.

Aeravti Ventures stated the first close of its first Rs 100 crore fund in May. The fund will concentrate on industries like deep technology, deep science, biotechnology, agritech, climate, and enterprise technology.
