Africa Tech Startup Forum accelerator programme opens applications
The Africa Tech Startup Forum is a market access and acceleration program that aims to prepare, train, expose, and connect tech ventures with opportunities. Applications are now being accepted.
The Africa Tech Startup Forum, supported by the African Development Bank (AfDB) Innovation and Entrepreneurship Lab and the Korea Africa Economic Cooperation (KOAFEC) Trust Fund, acts as a vibrant center for growth, innovation, and cooperation in the continent’s emerging tech sector.
The program, which is conducted both in-person and virtually, includes an incubator that gives early-stage tech startups a supportive environment. This program gives entrepreneurs access to mentorship, collaborative workspaces, and specialized resources.
Investor sourcing is another important aspect of the forum, connecting promising startups with potential investors eager to support ground-breaking ventures. A B2B matchmaking platform within the forum facilitates strategic connections between startups and established businesses.
Agri-tech, fintech, and e-health are among the program’s key industries. Startups from Kenya, Morocco, Rwanda, Egypt, Uganda, Nigeria, South Africa, and Ghana are encouraged to apply online by April 19 at the latest.
