Agri-tech accelerator launched by Flat6Labs, SANAD Entrepreneurship Academy in Egypt
Agri-tech accelerator program launched by seed and early-stage venture financing company Flat6Labs and SANAD Entrepreneurship Academy will assist participants in strengthening their business models, product development, customer interactions, marketing strategies, and financial management.
The initiative is the first step in Flat6Labs’ objective to promote growing companies in the agri-food, food security, and rural development sectors while highlighting the importance of the agri-tech sector in Egypt. It will aid 10 to 12 entrepreneurs in each cycle.
It will enable companies to access finance, grow more quickly and effectively, and promote the creation of technology that make the agriculture sector environmentally friendly, safe, and sustainable. By making data collecting and analysis to measure performances easier, these technologies improve service quality in the agricultural sector while restricting excessive pricing of goods and services.
‘’With digital transformation progressing rapidly across industries, and the agriculture industry being a core pillar of the Egyptian economy, the need to digitise the agriculture industry has increased dramatically. We are glad to launch this agri-tech accelerator programme in collaboration with the SANAD Entrepreneurship Academy, as it will serve this need by supporting the startups that provide innovative technologies in the agriculture sector and will contribute to the sustainable growth of the Egyptian economy,” said Hassan Mansi, Flat6Labs head of ecosystem development programmes.
