AI Cloud software Aarna.ml raised $6.7 M Series A funding
The free and open-source GPU-as-a-Service (GPUaaS) AI Cloud software Aarna.ml has raised $1.25 million from Exfinity Venture Partners in a Series A funding round.
In October 2023, the company had previously raised $5.5 million in funding, with support from NVIDIA, LDV Partners, 3Lines, CARAT Venture Partners, and other sources.
According to a press release from Aarna, the money raised will be utilized to expand the platform’s functionality to GPU reference architectures that incorporate storage and high-speed networks.
Using a shared underlying GPU pool, Aarna.ml, co-founded in 2018 by Amar Kapadia and Sriram Rupanagunta, enables GPU-as-a-service providers and NVIDIA Cloud Partners (NCP) to offer hyper scaler-grade multi-tenant GPU instances with full isolation. It seeks to strengthen the AI Cloud environment.
Companies like Tigo, LGE, Equinix, Keysight, CableLabs, and CapGemini Engineering are among those that Aarna claims to have worked with.
Exfinity Venture Partners specializes in B2B investments in SaaS and deep tech at the early stages. Among the startups it has supported are Autoverse, CloudSek, Cult.fit, Kinara.ai, Locus, Log9, MoEngage, Pixis, and Skit.Ai.
