AI-driven property portal Mogul.sg raised $6.6 M Series A funding

The series A investment round for Mogul.sg, an AI-driven property portal, was headed by Nech Capital and received S$9 million (US $6.6 million).

Gerald Sim founded Mogul in 2018, and it employs a unique geographical keyword search algorithm to assist consumers in finding properties. It provides users with access to a library of more than 5,000 unique keywords that they can use to search for locations based on particular features and amenities.

To provide a more engaging home-buying experience, the firm earlier this year introduced an interactive 3D map on its property search page.

Residential builders including Guocoland, Victory Land, and Amara Holdings have approved the 3D depiction of their forthcoming projects for prospective purchasers to inspect.

The property portal said that since the start of the year, both active and new users have increased by 20%, and property developers who have published 3D models on its platform have seen an increase in income.

With the new financing, the website’s 3D map will have more capabilities, such as indoor mapping and navigation, and more information will be made available to users so they can calculate property values that are more accurately.

In the future, the Singapore-based business wants to enable direct real estate transactions between users.
