AI-enabled SaaS platform Zeroe raised $2.2 M Seed funding for expansion

The UAE-based enterprise SaaS platform Zeroe, powered by AI, has announced the conclusion of its seed funding round. The round was oversubscribed and brought in $2.2 million to support the company’s next stage of expansion. Leading the round was Indonesian investor Owen Rahadiyan, who gave the group access to important growth markets in Southeast Asia. Building on the successful launch of its platform to enterprise customers in the UAE, this investment expedites the company’s mission to facilitate decarbonization and the transition to net zero.

With Zeroe’s Software as a Service (SaaS) platform, businesses can measure emissions thoroughly and report to multiple stakeholders on their decarbonization performance. The pressure on organizations to measure and lower their emissions grows along with regulators, customers, and capital. In addition to helping businesses understand and lower their carbon footprint, Zeroe gives them the knowledge and resources they need to align with sustainable finance frameworks, which is essential for obtaining the capital needed to complete this transition.

Farouk Jivani, Founder and CEO of Zeroe, emphasises the importance of this funding in realising the company’s vision: “The urgency to act on climate change has never been greater, and it will exponentially increase in the coming years. This investment is a testament to our commitment to driving tangible change. We’re here to accelerate the enterprise decarbonization journey and unlock climate finance to fund the transition.”

Led by two seasoned founders with a history of providing enterprise solutions around the world, Ali Najafian and Farouk Jivani, who are based in Los Angeles and Dubai. Zeroe provides an AI-powered carbon management platform to assist organizations in their journey towards net zero emissions, with the goal of decarbonizing businesses. Zeroe enables organizations to make data-driven choices, accomplish their sustainability objectives, and generate long-term value for shareholders. Zeroe signed the Sustainable Finance Declaration of Abu Dhabi Global Market, was one of the founding members of the Carbon Accounting Alliance, and was chosen as one of the twenty startups to be a part of DIFC’s Fintech Accelerator for 2023.
