AI post-production startup Algomage to receive $500K Pre-series A funding from Flipkart Ventures
Algomage, a startup in artificial intelligence post-production, is raising $500K in a pre-Series A funding round that is being led by Flipkart Ventures.
According to a press release from Algomage, the company intends to use the money to grow its sales and marketing team.
Algomage automates post-production tasks like image selection, editing, and sharing. It was founded in 2021 by Anand Rathi. The startup offers businesses, the retail sector, and photographers expert AI tools and services for digital imaging. The business claims that large businesses, concerts, theme parks, conferences, and other events use its services.
Algocull, Algoedit, and Algoshare are three interconnected machine learning modules that the Mumbai-based company claims to offer automated image processing and delivery through. These modules are made to reduce post-production time and deliver the images quickly. According to Algomage, it increases image visibility by 15X while reducing image delivery time by 8X.
As part of its Flipkart Leap Ahead accelerator program, Flipkart Ventures announced on Monday that it will support five startups, including FlexifyMe, Algomage, Castler, NimbleBox.ai, and ReCircle. Along with participation from GSF, iHub Anubhuti, and Chandigarh Angels (CAN), among others, FelxifyMe already raised $1 million from the project.
