AI-powered patient safety startup Graph AI raises $13.3 M Series A funding from Insight Partners

AI-powered patient safety startup Graph AI has raised $13.3 million in a Series A funding round led by Insight Partners, with participation from existing backer Bessemer Venture Partners.
The latest investment comes almost a year after the company secured its seed funding in October 2025.
With the new capital, Graph AI plans to expand its operations across the US and Europe while accelerating the development of its product offerings.
Founded in 2024, Graph AI has developed Graph Safety, an AI-powered platform that automates key workflows for pharmacovigilance and patient safety teams within the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries.
Graph Safety combines AI with deterministic controls, validation mechanisms and end-to-end audit trails, enabling pharmaceutical companies to streamline safety operations while preserving traceability and human oversight.
The platform automates several stages of adverse event and safety case processing. Graph AI claims that its live deployments have cut case processing times from more than three hours to less than 10 minutes, representing a reduction of over 90%. The company also reported that the platform can reduce operating costs by as much as 66%.
Graph AI currently offers two modules. Intake is designed to capture and triage adverse event reports, while Nucleus serves as an intelligent safety database that automates case processing. A third module, Report, is focused on automating aggregate reporting and is expected to launch this month.
The startup said it has onboarded pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies across North America and other markets. It is also developing additional products with customers, including Signal, a solution aimed at detecting emerging safety signals and identifying patterns across cases.
