Antler India contributed $250K to the pre-seed round of funding for the AI-focused product design startup Figr.
According to a press release from Figr, the money will be used to expand the engineering team and keep improving the product to address various design-related issues. The company stated in a press release that it intends to invest in developing strong and adaptable generative design models.
Moksh Garg and Chirag Singla founded Figr in 2023 with the goal of making product design more approachable. Figr uses AI to strengthen design research, quickly iterate interfaces, and enable collaboration.
The startup asserts that it has more than 100,000 design research queries from more than 30,000 users.
Antler India, an early-stage investment firm, closed Rs 500 crore of its Rs 600 crore ($75 million) debut fund last week and intends to close the remaining Rs 20 crore this quarter. Plotch.ai, Covrzy, and Hexo are a few of the startups that Antler recently invested in.
