AI services startup Aivar raises $4.6 M Seed funding from Sorin Investments, Bessemer

Bessemer Venture Partners and Sorin Investments led the $4.6 million seed funding round for AI services startup Aivar.

According to a press release from the company, the money will be used to increase Aivar’s footprint in the US, India, and the Middle East while continuing to invest in its AI accelerators, senior personnel, and global delivery capabilities.

Aivar is a technology services company with an AI focus that was founded in 2024 by Kousik Rajendran, Praveen Jayakumar, Ashwin Ram Ravichandran, and Aadharsh Ayappan. With AWS validation and early productized accelerators for voice, data, and AI/ML workloads, it collaborates on AI projects with startups, tech-heavy companies, and large corporations.

Aivar claims to have more than 80 clients in less than a year of business, collaborating with startups and large corporations to advance AI projects from testing to manufacturing. The business functions as an end-to-end AI studio, providing managed AI operations, custom AI solution development, and strategy consulting. It has created proprietary accelerators, such as Kubogent AI for Kubernetes-based infrastructure to host AI workloads, Velogent AI for agentic process automation in regulated workflows, and Convogent AI for multilingual conversational and voice applications.

Aivar uses internal accelerators and custom AI engineering to close gaps in enterprise AI adoption. A logistics SaaS company, for instance, used its Velogent accelerator to automate contract and invoice workflows; the initial deployment took six to eight weeks to complete.

With a focus on automation and operational efficiency, the company hopes to facilitate the broader application of AI across enterprise workflows in the future.
