AI startup Budy.bot raised $4.2 M from RTP Global

AI startup Budy.bot has raised $4.2 million (about Rs 35.29 crore) in a funding round led by early-stage investor RTP Global.

The round saw participation from Beenext, The Neon Fund, and angel investors such as Postman cofounder and chief executive Abhinav Asthana, Sierra Atlantic founder Raju Reddy, and Pure Storage cofounder John Hayes.

The proceeds will be used to ramp up the training and development of the company’s artificial intelligence (AI) skills.

Founded by Samay Kohli, Budy is an AI-driven agent designed to simplify the deployment and management of sales and marketing software stacks for enterprises. The startup claims to be purpose-driven, concentrating on achieving end outcomes and tangible business results.

GreyOrange is a robotics company founded by Kohli.

The company states that North America will be its primary focus. The platform optimizes the deployment and management of sales and marketing software ecosystems, addressing businesses’ global challenges.
