All In Capital led Rs 3.3 Cr Seed funding raised by handloom brand Dressfolk

Dressfolk, a brand of ethical handloom clothing, has raised Rs 3.3 crore in a seed round led by All In Capital. Sidhant Keshwani, Sidhesh Chauhan of Jade Blue, Riju Jhunjhunwala, Vikrampati Singhania, FinFirst Advisors, Apurva Ramesh Damani, and Pranav Sanghvi also took part in the funding round.

According to a press release from Dressfolk, the money will be used to expand its distribution networks, build out its product portfolio, and scale up its team and operations.

Dressfolk is the curator of Indian crafts and cutting-edge silhouettes; it was founded in 2017 by Nitin Mehrotra. The business seeks to empower the neighbourhood of local artisans while modernizing traditional Indian weaves. It starts from scratch with each of its garments and co-creates them with the artisan community. Along with empowering the neighbourhood weavers, it emphasizes fostering cooperative relationships with artisans to fully comprehend craft regions and traditions.

The Delhi-based business claims to work with more than 600 weavers and 120 artisans in 6 states. Additionally, it asserts to have clients in more than 20 different nations around the world.

Among the other notable businesses in this industry are Fab India, Jaypore, Cotton World, Upasana, and Ethicus.

All In Capital recently led the pre-seed round for the spacetech startup PierSight. Prior startups supported by the VC firm included Volt Money, Varee, MoMoney, and EximFiles, among others.
