An innate ability to communicate with animals, Telefauna: Girija Lahoty

An animal communicators work can be tougher them it seems since it is energy work and not everyone resonates with it. It was Girija’s first dog kimchi who led her to become an animal communicator. When she hired professionals for Kimchi, her dog, they were surprised to see the bond they shared and everything Kimchi knew was through Girija. “An innate ability all of us have, we need to tap into ourselves to relearn the art of communicating and exploring.”

Incubees: Tell us about yourself and your practice of “Animal Communication”?

Girija Lahoty: I am a 26-year-old animal communicator and healer. Animal communication is a two-way communication via transfer of feelings, emotions and thoughts. As an animal communicator I help pet parents and caregivers understand their companion animals better. This is done telepathically which means no verbal language is required for it and across a distance, which further means that I don’t necessarily have to be near the animal to communicate with them.

Incubees: What made you get into healing animals? How did you come to know that you can communicate with animals?

Girija Lahoty: I have always loved animals, once I started communicating with animals, I realized that I needed to learn how to heal them as well. There would be times when I would have to deal with animals that are not doing well or are at a place where there’s no help available. That’s when I decided to take up celestial healing. I have knowingly/unknowingly always been communicating with animals but I only became aware of it after bringing my animal companion, Kimchi, home. Not only did she make me realize that this is something I could do, she was the one who guided me through my journey and still guides me. “The interesting part is that all of us already have this innate ability, its all about exploring this part of yourself and relearning the art of communicating.”

Incubees: For those who are not aware of animal communication, could you elaborate on the key points of the same for the readers?

Girija Lahoty: Animal communication is nothing but transfer of thoughts across a distance, it is done telepathically and so no verbal language is required for it. Animal communication is not a “perspective” or a “reading” but an actual “two-way” communication that the practitioner has with the pet. The messages in this type of communication are either received through our five sensory organs or clairvoyance.

Incubees: How do you think our pet’s benefit from animal communication?

Girija Lahoty: Animal communication gives pet’s the opportunity to voice their opinions, concerns and so much more. As pet parents we always keep wondering about our companion animal’s likes/dislikes and what do they think about their humans? Animal communication not only helps us understand our pets better but also gives pet parents a lot of insight into their lives. Our animals have soul contracts with us, which means that they are all helping their humans learn their soul lesson. Communicating with them also enables us to understand their purpose in our lives. Not just this, animal communication is also used as an additional tool in understanding how your pet is doing health wise, assisting in search for missing pets, dealing with behavioral issues and connecting with pets who have crossed over. It overall helps strengthening and deepen the bond that we have with our companion animals.

Incubees: Can you communicate with all animals as well or you specialize in Dogs?

Girija Lahoty: I communicate with all animals including the ones that are no longer in their physical form.

Incubees: Tell us about the monetary aspects of animal healing and little about your clients?

Girija Lahoty: Animal healing and communication can definitely be a viable career option for animal lovers and energy workers. A 20-minute video session with an animal communicator can cost a person anywhere from INR 2000 to $200 depending on your skill & experience. My clients include new pet parents who are curious to know about their companion animals, pet parents whose animals go missing, pet parents who are looking for after-life support and so on. I worked a 9 to 5 job before this but it was not soul satisfying.

Incubees: Would you like to give any suggestions to upcoming startups/practioners?

Girija Lahoty: The only two suggestions I can give an upcoming animal communicator are:

  • Set your boundaries – it can be extremely challenging as you would constantly be working with pet parents who are stressed (if their pet is sick or missing) or pet parents that are too excited! Setting clear boundaries is very important to enjoy, love and grow your work.
  • Believe in yourself – easier said than done, an animal communicator must make sure that they trust themselves and the animals the most. This would not only improve the quality of the communication that you have but also help you with your skill.
