Andy Hwang, former Facebook veteran serves as a member of JobHopin’s Board of Advisors
Andy Hwang, a former Director of Business Integrity at Facebook, has been named an angel investor and has joined the advisory board of JobHopin, career management and recruitment platform in Vietnam.
Andy Hwang will mentor and advise JobHopin, along with other active Board Advisors such as Johan Nyvene, the creator of HSC- 2nd, and Thomas Hornbeck, a serial digital entrepreneur and co-founder of Silicon Valley venture-backed Got It!
JobHopin, a Vietnam-based startup, analyses data from both online and offline sources to provide consumers with real-time market knowledge. It claims to have more than 2.1 million digital profiles, as well as solutions for 4,000 firms and 10,000 recruiters in the United States.
Since the beginning of 2018, the company’s sales are claimed to have increased by over 300 percent year on year. JobHopin secured $2.45 million in a Series A investment headed by SEMA Translink and KK Fund earlier this year, bringing the total cash raised to moreover $3 million since its start.
A Singapore-based investor and business counsellor, Andy Hwang is one of the new angel investors and a member of Facebook’s advisory board. He helped establish Facebook in Singapore and throughout Asia and helps companies protect and create trustworthy people relationships.
