Quest Ventures backed ApartX secured $250k in oversubscribed Seed funding round

ApartX, a startup in real estate technology with a focus on rental property management and backed by Quest Ventures, announced on Wednesday that it had received $250,000 in seed funding from Kazakhstan-based Big Sky Capital and Activat VC.

According to a statement from ApartX, the seed funding will be used to expand into new geographic areas, such as Southeast Asia, and to improve platform functionality.

According to ApartX, the investment will be used to boost research and development, entice qualified professionals, and enhance platform usability.

Additionally, it intends to increase its market share and forge strategic alliances with major players in the sector.

“ApartX has built a powerful platform that greatly simplifies the rental management process for landlords. We are determined to continue enhancing the rental process by increasing transparency and improving safety,

“We are confident that the new funding will help us reach new heights and reshape the rental property landscape,” said Kanat Keldibekov, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of ApartX.

ApartX was previously supported by the Singapore-based venture capital firm Quest Ventures as a member of the elite Kazakhstan Digital Accelerator, which was run in collaboration with the Kazakhstan Investment Corporation, the country’s sovereign wealth fund.

With the most startups in the area, Kazakhstan has recently become known as Central Asia’s technology hub.

“ApartX is an innovative software as a service (SaaS) solution that revolutionizes the rental process for both landlords and tenants. ApartX’s solution removes friction by digitizing the rental process which until now has remained predominantly manual,

“We are delighted with the results that ApartX has seen in Central Asia and look forward to supporting its continued growth,” said James Tan, Managing Partner at Quest Ventures.

ApartX is a business-to-business (B2B) software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform for landlords in the short-term rental industry. It uses biometrics, smart locks, and digital sign technologies with integration to major rental platforms like AirBnB, VRBO, and Booking.com to automate up to 90% of the operation process of 1700 properties.

With a portfolio of more than 100 venture-backed businesses operating in more than 150 Asian cities, Quest Ventures is a venture capital firm in the region that offers more than 4,400 employees opportunities for employment and career advancement.
