Pitch AgriHack, a collaboration between AGRF and Heifer International, aims to boost agricultural entrepreneurship and employment development by utilising innovative technology and young engagement in Africa’s food security agenda.
The seventh edition of the competition will offer awards totalling $45,000 to firms that are pushing agricultural innovation in three categories: early-stage, mature/growth-stage, and women-led. The AYuTe Africa Challenge, sponsored by Heifer International, is a fourth invite-only category that will award up to US$1.5 million in funding to scalable businesses that are currently creating quantifiable benefits for Africa’s smallholder farmers.
Applications are open till August 16.
