At 30% IRR, IPV exits Parablu

After delivering over 30% IRR for its investors and a 2.2X MoM return over 36 months, angel investing platform Inflection Point Ventures (IPV) has announced its exit from Parablu.

IPV has demonstrated its ability to consistently generate high-value returns with 47 successful exits. The departure of Parablu further supports IPV’s approach of investing in startups at fair prices, innovative business models, and visionary founders.

IPV and other investors have contributed $1.5 million to Parablu’s fundraising efforts thus far. In 2021, Parablu received crucial funding and strategic support from IPV, which allowed the business to grow quickly and forge a solid reputation in the enterprise data management market.

CrashPlan, a world leader in cyber-ready data resilience, has purchased Parablu, a data protection company. CrashPlan’s capacity to defend vital data against ransomware, deletion, and service interruptions is strengthened by this acquisition.

Anand Prahlad, Kameswaran Subramanian, and Subash Baliga co-founded Parablu, a company that provides backup and data security solutions for businesses. Its products, which improve data security, dependability, and compliance against ransomware and other threats, include server backup, managed file transfer, and endpoint backup.

The purchase of Parablu by CrashPlan highlights IPV’s vision in assisting forward-thinking companies and the growing need for data resilience in a cloud-first world. IPV seeks to spur innovation and generate value for investors, startups, and the larger ecosystem by bringing together forward-thinking investors and visionary founders.

An angel investment platform called Inflection Point Ventures (IPV) has over 23,500 CXOs, HNIs, and other professionals who invest in startups. The company connects new-age entrepreneurs with a wide range of investors and offers them both financial and experiential capital. Physis Capital, a $50 million CAT 2 VC fund, was also established by IPV to invest in growth-stage startups from Pre-Series A to Series B. The fund has already invested in two startups, and it has a number of deals in the advanced stages of development.
