At Impact AI PitchFest, Peak XV invests in five early-stage AI startups

At the Impact AI PitchFest, a component of the India AI Impact Summit 2026, Peak XV made investments in five early-stage AI businesses.
During the India AI Impact Summit, founders presented to investors, operators, and ecosystem leaders at the Impact AI PitchFest, where the investments were disclosed.
The startups that received funding are Round1, Zoop, Memfold AI, Kello, and Companion Labs. The goal of Companion Labs is to create engaging, entertainment-driven AI experiences that are suited to the vernacular and culturally varied audiences of India.
Companion Labs, which was co-founded by Akshay Jhanwar and Ajit Pol, uses AI-powered narratives to let users explore different lives, careers, and goals.
Kello helps businesses make better hiring decisions by analyzing real-world capability signals that go beyond conventional proxies like job titles or pedigree. Over 32 million professionals have already been mapped, and by 2026, it plans to map an additional 100 million.
Memfold AI, co-founded by Vinod Ganesan and Nischith Shadagopan, is creating a new generation of AI-native workspaces with the goal of radically altering the way knowledge work is carried out.
Co-founded by Saumil Tripathi, Shreeyash Dharmadhikari, and Jainam Talsania, Round1 works with top Indian startups and conducts more than 500 AI-led interviews every day, with a 90% qualification rate from the first to the second interview.
Zoop creates scalable AI agents that work with sellers’ current workflows, including social media, voice-based product cataloguing, and customized AI live coaching.
