Aurva raises $2.2 M Seed funding from Nexus VP

Founded by former Meta engineers, Aurva is a security startup that has raised $2.2 million in seed money from angel investors, DeVC, and Nexus Venture Partners from the global security and AI ecosystem.
Additionally, Chris Bream, a former Security Executive at Meta, participated in the round.
Real-time, identity-aware access monitoring is offered by Aurva, which was founded by CEO Apurv Garg and CTO Krishna Bagadia. Every data access, whether by people, services, or AI agents, is linked to a genuine identity by its platform.
This guarantees that businesses can quickly identify and prevent abuse, enhancing security and compliance, especially for BFSI clients working under stringent international infosec regulations.
The eBPF-based technology that forms the foundation of the company’s architecture allows for flexible, low-overhead deployment across enterprise systems. An advantage over conventional data monitoring and access control solutions is that Aurva can provide security without causing operational lag.
The startup has offices in Mumbai and Bengaluru, and its headquarters are in California, USA.
Aurva faces competition from players such as Veza, Satori, and Immuta.
