Autotech startup Motorfloor raised Pre-seed funding from PointOne, angel investors
PointOne Capital and a few angel investors have contributed to a pre-seed funding round for Indiyanet, a Bhubaneswar-based company that manages and operates several online properties in the commercial mobility space.
The platform’s offerings in regional markets and additional verticals in the mobility space will be expanded with the help of the proceeds.
Subrat Kar founded the company in 2024. It operates two commercial vehicle-focused websites, Motorfloor and Trucksfloor, and helps customers make educated purchasing decisions by providing research tools to examine vehicle features, specs, images, on-road costs, and more.
At the moment, the Motorfloor makes money by charging dealers and OEMs for lead generation. To promote end-to-end commerce, it intends to grow transactional verticals within the mobility space in the future.
With 25 employees based in Bhubaneswar, the startup hopes to expand its back-support operations, content, and language localization teams.
