B2B logistics tech platform Oorjaa raised Rs 5.35 Cr Pre-Series A2 funding from IPV

Oorjaa, a B2B logistics tech platform, has raised Rs 5.35 crore from investors including Inflection Point Ventures (IPV), Vinners Platform, Soonicorn Ventures, and HEM Angels as part of its pre-Series A2 round.

According to a press release from OORJAA, the funds will be used to advance technology, scale up the PiE KART platform, and grow the team.

Oorjaa, a technology-driven logistics company founded by Sandeep Patil, Prashant Mohite, and Yogesh Parab, provides trip management, auto-routing, network optimization, data analytics, and highly effective operational processes.

Some of the most well-known large e-commerce, food-tech, and e-grocery companies, including Flipkart Wholesale, Jio Mart, Udaan, Zomato Hyperpure, and BigBasket, among others, are among its B2B clients.

The Bengaluru-based company recently released an app-based product called PiE KART that specifically serves the needs of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) by providing affordable and environmentally friendly intra-city delivery solutions using shared trucks for same-day delivery.

Oorjaa has grown to serve more than 15 cities and 30 hub locations since its November 2019 launch, processing more than 4000 orders daily with 200 vehicles (including EV cargo vehicles to promote sustainability).

Pre-Series A funding for Oorjaa, led by Inflection Point Ventures, was raised in March of last year for approximately Rs 9 crore ($1.1 Mn).
