B2B Pharma SaaS startup Leucine raised $7 M Series A funding from Ecolab

Pharma B2B SaaS platform Leucine has secured $7 million in a Series A funding round led by Ecolab, with participation from Pravega Ventures, Axilor Ventures, Techstars, and others.

According to a press release from Leucine, the additional funds will be used to develop the company’s go-to-market (GTM) strategy, increase AI capabilities, and grow the team.

Leucine, a company co-founded in 2019 by Vivek Gera and Mustaq Singh Bijral, assists clients in the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry with batch planning, modernizing outdated practices, and switching from paper-based records to digital ones. The business offers clients useful insights through an analytics dashboard.

The beta launch of Leucine 10x, an AI-powered framework created to act as a co-pilot in pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, was also announced by Leucine. The company asserts that more than 30 businesses and more than 300 pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities in 10 countries, including the US, India, Brazil, Mexico, and others, have implemented its solutions.

Cadila, Dr. Reddy’s, and Cipla are some of its clients.

Leucine claims that the number of manufacturing facilities using its product has increased by almost a factor of two, with the US and India making up the majority of this growth.
