Bacancy Systems raises Rs 40 Cr Series A funding from Sabre Partners, Greenstone Capital

In a Series A funding round headed by Sabre Partners and Greenstone Capital, Bacancy Systems, a startup that provides turnkey solutions, raised Rs 40 crore. Both investors obtained minority stakes through primary investments.

The money raised will be utilized to increase production capacity, speed up product development, bolster R&D, and increase its market share abroad.

Bacancy, which was founded in 2021 by Binal Patel, Krunal Patel, and Hardik Sheth, manufactures embedded electronics and power systems for use in railroads and electric cars. The company specializes in cloud, firmware, and hardware IP-led products.

Bacancy creates solutions, such as DC charger controllers and associated systems, for EV OEMs and charging infrastructure participants. With products like train control and management systems, traction and auxiliary converter controls, and remote monitoring platforms, it is also branching out into railway electronics.

As it pursues expansion in EV infrastructure and railway modernization, the company intends to expand its manufacturing infrastructure and strengthen its R&D capabilities.
