For a total of Rs 160 crore ($18.7 million), Findi Ltd’s subsidiary Transaction Solutions International (India) Pvt Ltd (TSI) has successfully acquired BANKIT Services Pvt. Ltd.
Expanding Findi’s presence in the Indian financial services industry is the goal of the agreement.
Over 1.8 lakh merchants in India are currently supported by Findi as a result of the acquisition. BANKIT offers a network of over 12,000 pin codes and 1.29 lakh merchant partners. With this addition, Findi is better equipped to provide banking and payment services to underserved communities.
Findi intends to use this network to create a platform that blends digital products, merchant-led services, and ATMs. Developing into a full Payments Bank and offering fundamental financial services to marginalized communities is the aim.
Through institutional funding, Findi was able to raise Rs 243 crore ($28.4 million) in 2025. Additionally, it signed a deal with the State Bank of India to increase the number of ATMs it operates and purchased Tata Communications Payment Solutions Limited. Additionally, Findi was awarded a contract by the Union Bank of India to install ATMs worth Rs 500 crore ($58.1 million).
With local merchants, Findi and BANKIT will now concentrate on providing integrated financial services.
