Blockchain startup Headquarters received $5 M Pre-series funding
A pre-seed fundraising round headed by Crypto.com Capital, Forge Ventures, and MassMutual Ventures secured $5 million for Headquarters, a blockchain startup with offices in Singapore.
Headquarters, a company that was just founded, assists Web3 businesses in managing their financial activities and reporting. Users may connect their cryptocurrency wallets to the platform, carry out transactions in bulk, and classify inbound and outbound transactions to simplify bookkeeping.
Because teams typically have the money split across many wallets, the business claims that financial operations for Web3 firms are difficult.
“The principles of building good projects and businesses don’t change. A lot of the best practices in finance still apply and should be a foundation to be built upon by Web3 teams,” said Forge Ventures partner and co-founder Tiang Lim Foo.
Sharon Paul, a former CEO of payment gateway provider Xfers (now known as Fazz), and Sunny Singh, a former engineer of lifestyle company Traveloka, founded Headquarters.
By connecting cryptocurrency wallets to systems for accounting, invoicing, payroll, spend management, and fiat ramp, Headquarters intends to hasten product development.
