Career guidance platform ProBano acquired by edtech startup Toprankers

The career guidance platform ProBano was acquired by edtech startup Toprankers, which is based in New Delhi. The company withheld the transaction’s specifics.

A career guidance platform called ProBano helps high school students in India, ages 13 to 18, make informed career decisions and acquire the skills they need to realize their professional aspirations. According to the business, it has a track record of providing helpful guidance and counseling to more than 30,000 students across 24 states.

Aditya Bose, the CEO of ProBano, and his team of knowledgeable career consultants and project managers will join Toprankers as part of the agreement.

Toprankers is developing a career discovery and experience platform that will allow high school students to explore their passions and provide skill-building opportunities across a variety of career domains with the help of ProBano’s expertise in career guidance and counseling.

Toprankers claims that by utilizing such all-encompassing and cutting-edge solutions, it is committed to addressing the root causes of unemployment and job dissatisfaction in the nation. The platform will make use of ProBano’s proficiency in carrying out Career Discovery and Experience programs with high school students associated with NGOs, CSRbinitiatives, and reasonably priced private schools.

Toprankers, a company founded in 2016 by Gaurav Goel, Karan Mehta, and Harsh Gagrani, acquired $4 million in June 2022, with funding provided by Sixth Sense Ventures.
