CCAvenue SoundBox Max, an all-in-one point of sale (POS) device designed for retailers and merchants throughout India, was introduced by fintech company Infibeam Avenues.
CCAvenue claims that SoundBox Max is made to change the way that retailers and merchants handle payments by giving them the freedom to take payments from credit cards, debit cards, and UPI.
With support for contactless (NFC) and chip-based credit and debit card payments, as well as static and dynamic QR codes, it is also intended to streamline and secure transactions.
Infibeam Avenues’ addition of value-added features to the CCAvenue SoundBox Max, including card EMI and brand EMI options, will serve a variety of retail sectors, including supermarkets, quick-service restaurants, salons, fashion boutiques, and more. Ensuring strong security and performance, the device complies fully with PCI PTS, CE, FCC, RoHS, and EMV L1, L2, and L2 standards.
With over 10 million customers using its enterprise software platforms and digital payment systems, Infibeam Avenues reports processing transactions valued at Rs 7 trillion (roughly $86 billion) in FY24.
Prominent fintech firms with soundboxes for retailers and merchants include Paytm, BharatPe, Razorpay, Pibe Labs, and PhonePe.
