Children’s technology business Wippi raises $1.2 M Seed funding from 12 Flags

In a seed fundraising round headed by 12 Flags, Bengaluru-based children’s technology business Wippi has raised $1.2 million. Ruvento Ventures, Ventana Ventures, and Warmup Ventures all took part in the round.
Its voice AI, engineering and AI teams, manufacturing in India, and direct-to-consumer business would all benefit from the new funding. Additionally, Wippi will increase the number of characters, languages, and unique material.
Wippi, which was founded by Rishabh Singhi and Siddhartha Jain, creates screen-free products that integrate interactive play for kids, storytelling, and conversational speech AI.
Character Cards, illustrated storybooks, and Wippi Radio are all part of its portfolio.
Children may ask questions, make decisions, and take part in stories with characters like Ram, Krishna, Alice, Cinderella, and Aladdin thanks to Wippi’s voice AI. According to the corporation, youngsters four years of age and older are the target market for its products.
Over the course of the next year, the firm intends to reach 15,000 families and enter international markets. Additionally, it is developing more AI-powered conversational learning tools and collector figurines.
