Claims adjudication SaaS platform Superclaims acquired by ekincare

AI-powered claims adjudication SaaS platform Superclaims has been bought by digital health platform Ekincare.
As part of the acquisition, Maneesh Daithala, cofounder and CTO of Superclaims, and Bhavish Ramaswamy, cofounder and CEO of Superclaims, along with the leadership team, will remain in their current positions and report to the senior leadership of eKincare.
While taking advantage of ekincare’s wider platform and distribution network, the Superclaims brand will remain autonomous.
By growing wallet share within its current enterprise customer base, extending Ekincare’s presence across insurers and TPAs, and generating cross-sell opportunities across both businesses, the acquisition is anticipated to open up new growth prospects. Additionally, it puts ekincare and Superclaims in a position to grow outside of India as an AI-powered SaaS platform for insurance firms worldwide.
Ekincare is a personalized, full stack, customizable health benefits platform that was co-founded in 2014 by Kiran Kalakuntla and Srikanth Samudrala. It assists companies in creating health benefit packages that best meet the needs of workers and their families.
With participation from current investors Ventureast, Eight Roads Ventures, Siana Capital, and Endiya Partners, the Hyderabad-based business secured $15 million in its March 2022 Series B round, which was headed by HealthQuad and Sabre Partners.
According to Ekincare, it provides services to 2 million workers in over 1,000 enterprises, including Fortune 500 firms like Visa, BlackRock, and PepsiCo. Additionally, it boasts a network of over 500 cities and over 90,000 healthcare providers.
Superclaims is an AI powered claims adjudication SaaS platform that integrates directly with an insurer’s or TPA’s existing workflow. It automates one of healthcare’s most document heavy and error prone processes
