NOW’s Accelerate model has helped climate-tech startup Newtral raise $600K. With an emphasis on climate-tech and sustainability, NOW is a deeptech and deep science venture studio.
In July 2023, Newtral.io raised $80K (Rs 0.64 crore) in a pre-seed funding round headed by startup accelerator PedalStart.
The new funding will be used to scale recurring revenue and implement the GTM plan in important international markets, according to a press release from Newtral.
Newtral.io, which was co-founded in 2022 by Avi Chudasama, Vinod Sonagara, and Anuraag Paul, offers enterprise sustainability software that enables them to reach net zero emissions. While putting sustainable practices into place, it also helps businesses to monitor and reduce their carbon emissions. Businesses can use its platform to measure their carbon emissions, find areas where they can cut emissions, make custom dashboards, and implement sustainable practices.
The Bengaluru-based startup helps businesses to make a quantifiable impact on the climate and go beyond compliance. In order to assist companies in their transition to a low-carbon future, it seeks to create a scalable worldwide solution by combining reporting, insights, and action into a single platform.
Over 100 businesses in the pharmaceutical, real estate, and retail sectors, including Wockhardt, Meghalaya Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC), and Metro Brands Limited, reportedly trust Newtral.
