Coffee firm Flash Coffee laid off employees across all regions
According to The Business Times, which cited LinkedIn posts from former employees, Flash Coffee, a coffee firm with its headquarters in Singapore, has laid-off workers in all the regions it serves.
The company, which is supported by Rocket Internet, raised $32.8 million USD in July at the first close of its series B investment round.
In 2020, Flash Coffee was established by Sebastian Hannecker, a former executive of Bain & Company, and David Brunier, a former chief marketing officer of Foodpanda.
Indonesia, Singapore, Hong Kong, South Korea, Japan, Thailand, and Taiwan are among the countries where it is present. By the end of 2022, the business wants to take its operations to the Philippines, Malaysia, and Vietnam.
