CoinSwitch to provide crypto asset recurring purchasing plan
As part of its objective to make money equitable for all, crypto investing software CoinSwitch has announced recurring buy plan (RBP), a systematic approach to buy Crypto assets in India. The Crypto unicorn hopes that with this launch, consumers will be able to beat market volatility and avoid making rash purchasing or selling choices. Users may now sign up for an early access waitlist to try out this new functionality. CoinSwitch is India’s largest cryptocurrency exchange, with 15 million customers, the majority of whom are retail investors. The firm is on a goal to become a wealth-tech destination for every Indian and make money equal for everyone by providing the correct mix of financial products while putting customer safety first.
“At CoinSwitch, we want to help users across their financial journey. Crypto is an emerging but attractive asset class and has a higher degree of volatility in comparison to traditional assets. Recurring buy plan allows users experience the power of compounding by systematically buying cryptos and making regular, distributed purchases,” said Ashish Singhal, Founder and CEO, CoinSwitch. “As more Indians continue to diversify their investment portfolio with Crypto, the CoinSwitch recurring buy plan will allow long-term investors to invest systematically and avoid the impulse to time the market and make emotional trading decisions. It will also empower users with a lower risk profile to explore this new asset class,” Singhal said.
The RBP feature’s early access application procedure, which began today, will allow users to learn about this revolutionary feature and make systematic investments in over 80 currencies, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Dogecoin. Visit coinswitch.co to learn more about the plan, application process, and referral programme. Android users may use the functionality now, while iOS users will be able to utilise it shortly. Only native Indian bank accounts are allowed on the platform, and each user who makes a payment above a certain level is subjected to a name screening (for Politically Exposed Person status, Sanctioned list, and unfavourable news). CoinSwitch also released Riskometer in December, a new tool within the app that informs users before they invest in risky cryptos.
In September 2021, the firm secured $260 million in Series C fundraising from Coinbase Ventures and Andreessen Horowitz (a16z) to become India’s most valuable Crypto Unicorn with a $1.9 billion valuation.
