Construction tech startup BRKZ raised $8 M Series A funding
With participation from Aramco’s Wa’ed Ventures, Knollwood Investment Advisory, RZM Investment, and MISY Ventures, B2B construction tech startup BRKZ has raised $8 million in its Series A round, which is co-led by 9900 and BECO Capital.
BRKZ has now raised a total of $13.55 million with this round.
The startup had previously raised $5.55 million in a seed round headed by Better Tomorrow Ventures.
According to a press release from BRKZ, the funds will be utilized to increase the company’s proprietary capabilities and global reach.
Established in 2022 by Ibrahim Manna, BRKZ offers access to a large supplier and material pool as well as a variety of delivery and payment choices.
The startup requires customers to create and share requests for quotations (RFQs) via its app or WhatsApp rather than allowing direct online purchases.
Suppliers can adjust prices based on size, location, and delivery options through the streamlined portal. According to BRKZ, they have facilitated over $170 million in quotations for nearly 1,200 products from over 350 suppliers thus far.
BRKZ competes with OfBusiness, Moglix, and Infra.Market in the B2B construction market.
