Content-commerce platform Lehlah raised Rs 12.5 Cr Seed funding

Gruhas, an investment firm co-founded by Nikhil Kamath of Zerodha and Abhijeet Pai of Puzzolana Group, led the seed round for Lehlah, a content-commerce platform that enables influencers to make money by endorsing products. The round raised Rs 12.5 crore ($1.46 million).
It plans to use the money to expand its team, add new features, and fortify its position in India’s rapidly growing influencer-led retail market.
Ashna Ruia, daughter of Essar Group director Prashant Ruia, founded Lehlah in December 2022. The company collaborates with D2C brands like Libas and Foxtale as well as well-known e-commerce sites like Myntra, Meesho, Flipkart, and Nykaa. Originally concentrating on beauty and fashion, the platform is now branching out into home electronics and accessories.
With its tech team based in Bengaluru and its marketing division based in Mumbai, the brand employs 50 people.
According to Lehlah’s commission-based business model, brands pay the platform when influencers generate sales. As evidence of Lehlah’s potential to generate steady revenue for creators, influencers currently using the platform make between Rs 50,000 and Rs 1,00,000 per month.
