D2C fashion brand MyDesignation raises Rs 40 Cr Series A funding

Direct fashion brand for consumers (D2C) With participation from current investors Veltis Capital, Multiply Ventures, and Dominor Investments, MyDesignation has raised Rs 40 crore in a Series A funding round headed by RPSG Capital Ventures.
In February 2025, the startup from Kerala had previously raised $1.25 million in a seed funding round.
As it enters the next stage of growth, the money will be used to launch new product categories, bolster the senior leadership team, and increase its offline retail footprint through company-owned stores, according to a press release from MyDesignation.
MyDesignation is a direct-to-consumer fashion and lifestyle brand that was co-founded in 2020 by Swaroop Krishnan and Gopika B Raj with the goal of creating a community-driven, design-led clothing company.
With a foundation in innovation, community involvement, and operational rigor, the brand seeks to establish a distinctive and sustainable fashion label.
MyDesignation claims that it uses a digital-first strategy in addition to a growing offline retail presence in major cities like Calicut, Bengaluru, Kochi, and Thiruvananthapuram. The company reports high rates of repeat business and says it has served over a million customers in India.
With an emphasis on 90% original, non-repeating designs, the company specializes in fashionable, culturally inspired, and distinctive casual clothing for both men and women. With a focus on both everyday wear and culturally significant styles, it seeks to provide fashion enthusiasts with a customized shopping experience.
The company claims that since its founding, its revenue has increased by about 100% annually and that it intends to further solidify its leadership in areas like marketing, supply chain, finance, and merchandising. Additionally, it intends to open eight stores in markets like Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Chennai over the course of the upcoming year.
