D2C haircare brand Moxie Beauty raised Rs 17.3 Cr from Fireside Ventures

With the help of Fireside Ventures, D2C haircare brand Moxie Beauty has raised Rs 17.3 crore, or $2.1 million, in a new funding round.

Angel investors Samir Singh (former Unilever CMO Personal Care, Chair Unilever Asia), Arjun Purkayastha, Suhasini Sampath (founder, Yoga Bar), Navin Parwal, and Sangeet Agrawal (founders, Mokobara) were also involved in the round.

The Gurugram-based startup raised $669K from Amplify Partners, OTP Venture Partners, and other investors in its seed round in April of last year.

The additional revenue will go toward hiring staff, developing new products, and broadening distribution networks.

Moxie Beauty was founded by Nikita Khanna and Anmol Ahlawat, and it produces salon-caliber hair care products specifically formulated for Indian hair types.

It provides leave-in and styling products to help with frizz and dryness in addition to basic items like shampoo and conditioner.
